After we heard the news back in 2017 that The Bachelor star, Adam Wells, and Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland were an item, we freaked out a little bit.
Sarah had been a fan of Wells from day one.
She tweeted these during the Men Tell All Special of Wells’ season on The Bachelor .
It was meant to be.
And thus, the Twitter flirting began.
Literally within days of this exchange, Sarah and her then-boyfriend called it quite. E! News reported that their breakup was amicable, and that the two were planning on staying friends.
Less than two months later, we had proof that Sarah and Wells were hanging out in the same place.
And the pair have been inseparable ever since — restoring our faith that love actually does exist!
While the details of their flourishing romance were mostly kept private, they’ve always kept us updated by posting adorable couple photos on Instagram.

By November 2017, they finally addressed their relationship — letting us know what we basically already knew — that they are, in fact, a couple.
“It’s true. They are a couple. She has been spending time with him in Nashville and he is showing her around and doing fun activities with her. Wells is proudly introducing her to all his friends and is really happy that they connected. They are taking it slow but are not seeing other people,” E! News reported.
On Valentines day, they put every other couple on the face of the earth to shame with their sappy Instagram captions.
“With you I feel like I’m on top of the world & I’ll always catch you if you fall… no matter how high we climb. I love you to Pluto & back @wellsadams I am so grateful and appreciative of everything you do for me. #happyvalentinesday #myperson,” Sarah wrote .
Fast forward to this summer, Wells finally popped the question and just like that, the pair are officially engaged.
“That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff,” Sarah captioned this post .
Wells announced their engagement on Instagram as well:
“My fiancée is cooler than yours,” he captioned the photo.
No doubt, Wells. No doubt. She definitely has to be at the very least one of the coolest fiancés out there.

Anyways, you get it — their relationship gives me serious FOMO. If they aren’t relationship goals, I don’t know what is.
