Social media has become positively awash with all kinds of different ‘challenges’. Everything from pushups, to girlfriends climbing on their boyfriends as if they were a jungle gym.
In an effort to break the boredom, Tom Holland figured he’d give it a try. The Spider-Man star wanted to also see if he could recruit some friends to join in with him. The response he received from Ryan Reynolds was not only unexpected, it was hilarious:
Since isolation began, Tom Holland has been battling boredom.
Just like the rest of us, Tom is choosing to do the right thing and self-isolate.
But it hasn’t been easy for him.
First, he tried his hand at puzzles.
Not bad Tom. Not bad at all!
Plenty of people don’t have the patience to finish an entire puzzle!

But now he’s done something much more interesting.
And he did it with the help of his superhero friends.
This includes Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal, who are actually best friends!
Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal are used to challenges and trolling each other, which both came into play thanks to this challenge.
In fact, sometimes they get third parties involved!
Like the time that Jackman and Gyllenhaal teamed up on Ryan Reynolds on Christmas.
Poor guy was the only one to show up in an ugly Christmas sweater.
Holland himself had become very close with Jake while shooting ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’
Just look at how cute they are snuggled up on the couch together.
Tom issued a challenge that had fangirls screaming everywhere.
In pure Spider-Man fashion, the challenge entails putting on a t-shirt from off the floor while doing a hand-stand against the wall.
Judging from Tom’s heavy breathing – this is a lot harder than it looks!
Some fans were having trouble breathing themselves, but others were already making memes of him.
All in good fun, thankfully.
Jake Gyllenhaal responded next, but unlike his pal, he actually went through with it!
He quickly put Tom Holland’s efforts to shame.
I mean, just look at that balance! He made it look easy!
As for Ryan Reynolds answer? It was a perfect and hilarious “No”.
This is just such a Deadpool thing to do!
Ryan’s hilarious response and refusal to participate is a big mood.
Some fans couldn’t handle the fact that Reynolds even SAID no.
But we are all desperately hoping that he changes his mind and gives us what we deserve.
But we’re pretty sure his answer is going to become a meme.
Because it’s Ryan Reynolds, so why wouldn’t it?
He even extended the challenge!
Jake nominated another MCU alumni, Hugh Jackman.
As well as 50 Cent and his sister Maggie.
Hopefully Reynolds backtracks and does the challenge, and we’ll be keeping our eyes on Hugh Jackman in hopes that he does the same!
