When it comes to celebrity deaths that stick with us, it’s easy to say Robin Williams is someone fans will miss forever. His style of comedy was one of a kind, and his heart was even more notorious. There are few actors that transcended from beyond the screen the way Robin did, and now, fans are taken aback by seeing Jamie Costa’s impression of him in a new video.
Jamie Costa, best known for his roles in the “Star Wars” films, is gaining popularity for his Robin Williams impersonation.

The 31-year-old shared a five-minute clip to his YouTube channel on Tuesday titled “ROBIN Test Footage Scene” that has left fans speechless.
In the clip, Jamie is seen wearing Robin’s iconic rainbow suspenders while on the set of “Mork and Mindy” in 1982.

The clip, directed and edited by Jake Lewis, features Jamie and costar Pam Dawber, played in the clip by Sarah Murphree, breaking the news of John Belushi’s death to Robin.
As fans know, the beloved comedian died in March of 1982 of a drug overdose at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles at age 33.

As fans may also know, Robin had been with the comedian just hours before his untimely death.
“No, I told you, I was with him. John’s not dead, I was with him last night,” Jamie says.

Their emotional conversation concludes with a knock on the door, signaling to the actors that it’s time for them to return to the Mork and Mindy set.

The camera shows him sitting in front of his trailer mirror to recite lines that he had been practicing at the begining of the clip.
However, in. a heartbreaking twist, there’s a break in his voice as viewers realize he’s on the verge of tears.

He then stands up, shakes himself off, and goes right back into his usual, comedic demeanor.
The performance was so moving that many fans are calling for a biopic staring Jamie.

“This is a FANTASTIC impression of Robin Williams. If there is ever a biopic, they better cast you,” one viewer wrote.
“This was beyond just an impression, this was much more. His acting when he was looking in the mirror was amazing by itself,” echoed another.
The video, which has already been viewed by nearly 4 million people in 48 hours is all anyone can talk about right now, and with good reason.
