It’s no secret that there is MEGA money to be made on Instagram. Insta sponsorships basically made the whole “influencer” culture a thing.
However, sponsored Insta posts are just for your local influencer, big celebrities like the Kardashian/Jenner fam get paid millions to feature a product on their timeline.

And while it may seem harmless to most, comedian Ricky Gervais is having none of it!
With over 500 MILLION followers combined, the Kar/Jen fam are the most saught after Insta family *by far*. I wish I could say the group is picky about their sponsorship deals but, you will see some pretty funny ones in this article, lol.
Take Kylie posting with these Frozen 2 dolls for example.
Or my personal fav, Khloé Kardashian’s Febreze photoshoot that truly makes me CACKLE anytime I think about it.
But hey, KoKo prolly made more money off this one Insta ad than I’ll make in the next 10 years so you do you, boo.
However, this s**z apparently drives Ricky Gervais CWAZY!
In a video posted on Twitter, Ricky called out the Kardashians for their sponsored posts and explains why he chooses not to do them.
To be fair, are brands like SugarBearHair and Teami reaching out to Ricky? I don’t think so!
“I keep getting offered these things for proper mental money,” he revealed.
“I get these offers to do endorsed tweets. And I had heard about it. I know the Kardashian’s get something like 20 grand for sitting on a bench and going, ‘Ooh, I love this new chocolate bar.'”
He continued: “I think that’s sort of embarrassing. I want myself to be real. I don’t mind doing an advert when everyone knows I got paid to do an advert.”
