Look, the world has basically been flipped on its head and that means most of the rules we used to live by have been thrown out the window.
Remember when we used to only eat three meals a day, or go to bed before 5 AM, or wear pants on the regular?
Yeah, me neither. It’s all a vague, distant memory now.
One television reporter was recently caught living his best no-pants life during the worst possible time — a live broadcast.
This just goes to prove you really have to pick your moments to go pants-less. And that moment is definitely not when a camera is being pointed at you.
ABC News reporter Will Reeve was left pink in the cheeks when he appeared live on Tuesday wearing a shirt, suit jacket, and absolutely no pants.
Just like so many other people around the world right now, Reeve is stuck working from home. So when it came time to broadcast his Good Morning America segment , he was left to act as his own cameraman and had to set up the shot inside his house himself.
The fact that he called in to the studio from inside his own home would definitely explain why he appeared so comfortable without any pants on.
At the beginning of the segment, his camera angle and the graphics on screen hid his fashion blunder well enough.
“What is an innovative, high-tech way to get people their medicine quickly while promoting social distancing?” the upbeat reporter asked while appearing live across the country. “Drones!”
Of course, once the shot changed to full-screen, eagle-eyed viewers quickly noticed something unusual about the reporter and his outfit. Or lack thereof.
Apparently Reeve hadn’t been feeling the whole “full suit” thing and opted to wear just a jacket. Presumably believing he was only going to appear from the waist up, there didn’t seem to be much need for pants.
Or so he’d thought.
At the end of the segment, the screen returned to a two-shot of Reeve with the *GMA* anchors.
Judging from the looks on the hosts’ faces, I think we can all assume they definitely noticed their co-worker’s on-air blunder.
After all, it was pretty hard not to notice.
But to their credit, Amy Robach and Michael Strahan were able to keep it together long enough to thank Reeve for that compelling story.
All the while Reeve continued to smile, still oblivious to the fact that he was showing way more than viewers had bargained for.
But it wouldn’t be very long before he found out just what exactly had the anchors struggling to keep their smiles hidden.
The reporter quickly learned of his broadcast blooper after he went viral online.
People began sharing screen-grabs of Reeve’s pants-less moment on social media, but rather than make fun of the poor reporter, most people have been hailing him as the work-from-home (WFH) hero we didn’t know we needed.
Because we can all definitely relate to forgoing pants during these crazy, uncertain times.
Hey, who needs pants when we’re all stuck at home anyway, right?
“Pants and bras are a thing of the Before,” one Twitter user wrote, while another added, “Hey, it’s the plague. What better time for a no-pants policy?”
“It’s fine,” this person chimed in. “Pandemics are pants optional.”
Suffice it to say, some people were totally unbothered by seeing Mr. Reeves *sans-pants*.
“This leg shaming is absurd,” one person wrote. “Give me pantless handsome men on morning TV or give me DEATH.”

Honestly, there are way worse things in the world than seeing late *Superman* actor Christopher Reeve’s son pants-less on TV.
What’s that? You didn’t know they were father and son? Well, they definitely are. Can’t you see the unbelievably handsome resemblance?
As far as I’m concerned, if Superman didn’t have to wear pants, then neither does his son.
Reeve himself eventually broke his silence and took to Twitter to address his revealing on-air broadcast.
As he wrote , “When WFH goes wrong, (or, your self-framed live shot goes too wide). Hope everyone got a much needed laugh.”
He also included a note explaining that he had been preparing for a post-segment workout, hence the gym shorts he’d been wearing. He also welcomed any “sartorial tips from people who are wearing a belt, trousers, and shoes during their work video calls.”
“Now, back to work,” he finished, “Wearing pants.”
