Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon just recreated one of their iconic sister scenes from Friends !
If you didn’t know it already, the actresses have been hanging out a *ton* lately thanks to the upcoming release of their new show, “The Morning Show.”
Jen even joined Instagram recently, which is something that Reese couldn’t have been happier about!
She celebrated the news by sharing this adorable image with an equally adorable caption.
“How’s that for some morning news?! @jenniferaniston has joined the @instagram world and now I can finally tag her in FRIENDS memes! Welcome Jen!”
We love them!
BTW, it turns out that Jen has had a “fake” Instagram account this whole time before getting an actual one for herself.
While on Jimmy Kimmel Live , the actress admitted that all this time, she had been snooping on Instagram.
Sneaky, sneaky!
‘It was a stalker account, yes.”
The reason why she decided to have a fake account was so that she could test out the social media waters first.
“When I was thinking about doing this I figured it was time to kind of understand the world [of Instagram] and dip my toe into the social media pool.”
But back to Reese and Jen’s new show!
The Apple-created show, which also features The Office’s Steve Carrell, follows the trials and tribulations of those who create morning news shows.
A main focal point on the highly-anticipated show is the tense relationship between Aniston and Witherspoon’s characters.
That’s because similar to their sisterly rivalry as the Green sisters on Friends , the girls feud it out on The Morning Show .
And, speaking of the Green sisters, Jen and Reese recently made “Friends” fans dreams come true by recreating an iconic scene.
The scene is from the season six episode, “The One With Rachel’s Sister” where Rachel’s sister, Jill (Reese) comes to visit.
After getting a typical “How you doin'” greeting from Joey, Jill explains that she’s been cut off financially by her and Rachel’s dad.
Since Rachel is the only sister who has made it on her own, she makes it her mission to help her little sister do the same.
Unfortunately, similar to Rachel, Jill also sets her sights on Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, Ross.
The next episode, “The One Where Chandler Can’t Cry,” shows Rachel extremely uncomfortable with the thought of the two of them dating.
So under Rachel’s request, Ross breaks up with Jill.
This, coupled with Rachel forbidding Jill from dating Ross, eventually makes Jill want to date him even harder.
From here is where we enter into the iconic scene, which the two stars recently recreated decades later.
It all began during a recent interview when the two co-stars were shown an image from when they played the famous Green sisters.
“This is where you say the line that you love so much,” Jen says to Reese.
While Reese knew her lines right from the get-go, it took Jen a bit more time to remember.
Reese then whispers in Jen’s ear, likely telling her the lines.
Jen then says “you can’t have Ross,” which then prompts Reese to say her famous line as though she recites it every night:
“Can’t have? Can’t have? The only thing I can’t have is dairy.”
Both girls then stare back at the interviewer with proud smiles on their faces.
So. Iconic.
