Rebel Wilson is a name that is on everyone’s lips these days. While Rebel has always been beautiful, hilarious, and talented, her weight-loss transformation has garnered her major attention over the past year.
Now, the 41-year-old is opening up about a time when she was at her most unhealthy by posting a never-before-seen picture on social media. Needless to say, fans couldn’t be more proud of the actress!
Rebel Wilson is known best for her roles in everyone’s favorite films like “Pitch Perfect” and “Bridesmaids.”

Her most recent project, Senior Year , is set to hit theatres next year and I, for one, can’t wait to see her on the big screen again!
As fans know, Rebel underwent a health journey in 2020, which she titled her “Year of Health.”
During that time, the actress lost 60-pounds thanks to a new lifestyle which included healthier foods and more exercise.
However, it seems the transformation was as mental as it was physical.
In a new post on Instagram, Rebel shared this never-before-seen picture of herself from a few years ago.

In an emotional caption, she began: “Okay so I know that I normally post flattering photos of myself…but found this old photo in my emails and was like: whoa! I remember this was when I was at my most unhealthiest – being overweight and indulging way too much with junk food. Using food to numb my emotions.”
“My father had passed away of a heart attack and it was such a sad time. I didn’t think highly of myself and wasn’t valuing myself how I should have,” she explained.

“It’s interesting that I’m still smiling and still trying to be active – this was taken at a charity tennis tournament event (ps @djokernole is such a nice guy) – despite being in so much pain.”
“I look back now at that girl and am so proud of what she’s become and achieved,” Rebel continued.

“And just wanted to send out some encouragement to everyone out there struggling with weight or body issues or emotional eating. I feel you. I know what it’s like. But it’s never too late to start improving yourself and trying to be the best version of YOU possible.”
“It’s not a race and it’s not a competition – it’s about respecting yourself and doing what’s best for YOU.”

“So if you’re out there and reading this today, I just wanted to say: keep smiling and keep trying to be active! Love you guys,” she concluded.
Rebel’s vulnerability is so heartwarming and inspirational. Way to go, Rebel!
