Can I just give a shout out to all the people in these crazy, everyone at home times who live with other people?
Because I live alone and still seem to never be caught up on the dishes these days. The idea that someone else could be adding an equal amount on top of my own is mind-boggling.
This is the first time I’ve ever seriously considered investing in a dishwasher for my house.
Washing by hand didn’t seem so much work when I was eating breakfast and lunch at the office and only had one meal’s worth of dishes to clean each night.
Now I keep running out of clean mugs.
Semi-seriously considering just buying more mugs at this rate. Four was plenty until I broke one of them and then started working from home 24/7.
And don’t get me started on the sheer chaos that is the rest of my house.
Being trapped at home in a “fixer-upper” has resulted in half a dozen projects on the go, all with supplies and mess to keep on top of.
You know what? Let’s just all be okay with a bit of mess for a while. We’ve earned it.
