Maybe you’ve had a different experience, but I can say with absolute certainty that I make all my best online purchases when I have a wine glass in my hand.
Earlier this week, I was enjoying a hearty serving of a nice white and scrolling through my phone when I stumbled across a post from a bakery selling 6-pack treat boxes.
I can’t tell you exactly what happened next, but I can tell you I have an email confirming my order, and now I’m checking my tracking number every day in eager anticipation of whatever the heck is inside those treat boxes.
To be honest, I’m at my most generous when I’m drinking wine and online shopping.

I actually finished most of my Christmas shopping pretty early this year, thanks to spending just about every night on Amazon Prime with a glass in my hand.
Etsy is another one of those sites where I inevitably end up after a few too many sips. Now everyone’s getting something super cute, crafty, and totally customized for Christmas. You’re welcome, family.
That’s not to say I’m not also just a little selfish while shopping, too.

I definitely make sure to put a few things in my cart for myself. It’s sort of like a reward for doing such a good job at Christmas shopping this year!
As soon as I’ve checked someone off my list, I congratulate myself with a pair of slipper socks from Amazon, or a Sloth-shaped mug, or a blanket sweater for supreme coziness.
And every time a package shows up, it’s like Christmas!
Not just because getting a present from me to me is as enjoyable as getting one from someone else, but it’s also usually just as much of a surprise as if it came from someone else, too.
A popcorn maker and a Baby Yoda cookie cutter set? Wow, I shouldn’t have!
