Problem solving is one of the most basic skills that we learn when we are children. Although, for some individuals this skill does not come naturally — sure, they’ll get the job done, but they’ll do it like no one else!
So, from people who managed to get into strange situations with their false limbs to individuals who turned cleaning windows into a terrifying experience, here are 20 pics of problems that were solved the chaotic way!

This could only be made better if they had all been wearing one giant overcoat, with the little kid at the top wearing a fake moustache and hat. That might have been a bit dangerous though…
“Found on my hiking trail today. What did Tim do?!”
I think that Tim knows full well what he did to incur the wrath of the locals! Tim has better start watching his back when he is out for a hike!
“Eye wash station was finally restocked at work.”
One of these is for cleaning your actual eyes and the other is for cleaning your mind’s eye. I cannot recommend pouring Chardonnay in your eyes though, it doesn’t taste as nice as drinking it properly.
“Straight up built a barricade on the emergency doors at a thrift store I visit.”
Why would they feel the need to do this, are they expecting the zombie apocalypse? The person who posted this went on to add that they did go on to report this to the local fire marshal.

You have now! This is either someone who is genuinely made up by the existence of their amazing cat or the people at Pizza Hut doing some truly incredible underground marketing. Either way, it’s a pretty cool cat.
“It ain’t stupid if it works.”
Someone who has been in this situation before also responded by adding, “This is totally a contractor at FedEx taking the cheapest, easiest way possible to fix this for the time. Probably won’t be addressed till next year when it start to warm up.”
“When you own a welder, nothing is ever really broken.”
I love their commitment to keeping these scissors alive, but was this really necessary? Scissors are not that expensive are they? Unless you’re buying golden scissors…which would probably be pretty crap anyway.
“Doesn’t look too safe…”
Apparently, the text actually reads, “Creating [the] future together.” Although, I think that one of the best ways to build a future is not to nail all of your children to the floor. I’m old fashioned like that.
“Green button…”
Surely it would have been easier for someone to just cover the word “green” in the top sign? Or, why not just paint the top of this button green, I’m sure that would look really nice as well!
“Yeah, that’ll do I guess.”
Balancing scaffolding poles on an exhaust pipe seems like something that you probably shouldn’t do. The amount of weight pressing down on that tiny exhaust must be incredible, and it isn’t even a flat surface!
“Alabama hot tub.”
If it works, then it works. I know that I would still manage to set fire to myself though if I was sat in this pool. I have an unbelievable talent to turn any situation into a disaster when fire is involved.
“Saw this guy on my way home today, towing a full trailer with a hitch that is literally tied on.”
At least they put a safety chain on this monstrosity thought. I cannot help but think that the back of this car looks kind of like a robot playing the harmonica now.
“Interesting restaurant sign found in Thailand.”
That is one way to get around not having a Michelin star I suppose! If they get three more of these then they could also start to sell meals on wheels, just a thought.

I would rather climb up this scaffolding than the one that was balanced upon an exhaust pipe, but I would still not be crazy about being on this. It is certainly more aesthetic than normal scaffolding!

I am assuming that this means you just have to try and stare down the fire. Sure, some people think that water is good to use on a fire, but you cannot beat staring down a fire.
“Week 1 of throwing away the mattress.”
In fairness, they could quite easily have just left the mattress on the curb like an inconsiderate ass. However, there surely has to be a better way to dispose of a mattress than this?

This must have been left by someone who was on the last leg of their journey.
Don’t worry, I’ll grab my coat and show myself out after that abysmal joke.

I am assuming that this is supposed to try and put kids at ease by making them laugh? Still, it’s a pretty trippy design to have painted on a wall regardless of the context.
“My key broke so I burnt a screwdriver onto it.”
There were a surprising amount of people who also shared their own tricks for “fixing” broken keys, with one person adding, “a couple months ago I had the same problem. I sandwiched it between two quarters and jb welded them together”
“Anything for a clean window.”
This guy must take cleanliness really seriously, I bet the inside of the apartment is immaculate. I do not think that I have ever seen someone risk their life for clean windows before, and yet here we are.
