It’s Easter weekend in the year 2020 and it’s weird .
The last holiday-like event was St. Patrick’s Day, but depending on where you live, that may have been far less affected by current self-isolation guidelines than Easter is for most of us now.
And while a limited St. Paddy’s may be a bummer for some grown-ups, Easter is when kids are really going to feel it.
Gone are the gatherings with extended family for meals or church services.
Instead, kids are at home with immediate family and worried about how the Easter Bunny is going to handle this whole situation.
Parents are just panicking to ensure they’ve actually managed to buy Easter candy with limited shopping options.
One couple in Duluth, Minnesota decided to raise the spirits of their neighborhood by making sure the Easter bunny made an appearance.

Desini Sandlin and her husband Michael created an Easter display on their front lawn, and later in a local Kmart parking lot, inviting neighbors to come and see the Bunny (Michael in costume) from a safe distance.
They estimate that they had about 300 visitors.

Since then, Michael has continued to don the suit and visit local hospitals to raise spirits from afar.
Meanwhile, in Haddon Township, New Jersey, Jennifer Blair donned a suit of her own and drove around to wave at everyone she passed.

With the help of two friends in Jeeps, Jennifer made the rounds for four days.
People have asked her to make it an annual tradition, but she isn’t sure yet. A spinal condition and other health concerns may make it difficult to repeat.
