One of the lastest ways that people are distracting themselves in quarantine is by turning their pets into cardboard dinosaurs, and the internet is absolutely here for it!
So far we have seen a variety of quarantine internet trends.

While normal internet trends consist of idiots hurting themselves or eating/drinking things that are incredibly dangerous, the trends that have emerged from our time in self-isolation have been decidedly more wholesome! These have included the likes of making cardboard tanks for pets and recreating classical art pieces with household objects.
However, the newest internet trend is the cutest of them all.

Sure, recreating classical works of art with pets may be cute, but it’s nothing in comparison to people using cardboard boxes to turn their beloved furry friends into terrifying dinosaurs!
I mean, feel free to disagree with me on this fact, but I can guarantee that you’ll agree with me once you’ve seen all of these images!
Truly, these terrifying dinos are the stuff of nightmares!

In the face of every single cat on this list, you can see an expression that is begging to know when the lockdown will end so that their owners can go back to work and stop bothering them with inane internet trends.
Perhaps it is the inherent anger that makes cats better at being dinosaurs than dogs?
Some of the pets have been decidedly more into the experience than others.

While some people simply drew out a crude dinosaur, other enthusiastic pet owners even went so far as to color in their masterpieces!
And, I don’t know why, but there is something about dogs that just don’t quite make as convincing a dinosaur as cats do… or is it just me?
Some of the drawings were also of much higher quality than others!

I still can’t decide if I like the ones that are drawn to perfection, or if I prefer the ones that are goofier?
Sure, this is an amazing dinosaur, but there is something about the drawings that look like they were done by kids that are more adorable.
These adorable little transformations also require very little effort.

Most of the quarantine trends involve a lot of hard work, like building a cardboard tank for your cat, or making a stop-motion animation, or just getting healthy; however, these little dinosaurs are easy to make! In fact, the only hard part will be getting your cat to put their head through the hole.
Don’t let your artistic ability hold you back!

Regardless of whether you’re a fantastic artist, or, like me, just a child at heart with a box of felt tip pens, anyone can get involved in this activity.
I mean, I’ll probably end up making one for our cat then lying and saying that the kids made it, even though my partner and I don’t have kids, but what the hell.
Do you have a pet that you think will make an amazing dinosaur?

If so, then grab a cardboard box and a felt tip and get drawing! Also, be sure to share them with me, as I cannot get enough of these adorable little dinos, and I’m sure that you can’t either!
