Well, this is definitely one way to commit to a more sustainable lifestyle!
Clever gardeners have begun reusing rotisserie chicken containers as tiny, portable greenhouses. It’s as hilarious an idea as it is genius, and it actually works!
This hack is PERFECT for urban gardeners.

The containers are ideal for starting seeds. Using these containers in cooler weather will allow the seeds to get lots of sun and germinate, without baking in the heat.
You don’t have to plant the seeds right in the container, either.

This greenhouse has three sprouting cacti in it, as well as a cutting from an African Violent. Just placing your pots inside will help them grow in a warm, safe environment!
Here’s how one user did it:

After eating the chicken, Reddit user Cali21 cleaned everything out.
“I poked a few holes in the top to allow air flow and holes in the bottom to let water in(I kept another container underneath filled with water and the soil was able to suck it up as needed).”
Then, they added the soil!

“I then filled it with topsoil and planted a few seeds. I put the lid on and didn’t touch it for about 2 weeks unless water was low. This was the result!”
So, what do you think? Would you try this little hack?
