As the quarantine and self-isolation period continues, many of us are getting used to just lounging in our pajamas all day. That’s totally understandable. I’m doing that as I type. LOL!
On the other hand, boredom breeds creativity as they say. So it’s no surprise that some people have taken that statement to heart and started recreating “high-fashion” looks at home using pretty unconventional materials. The results are quite hilarious.
1. This Alexander McQueen Look
Oh, wow! I gotta say this look is pretty spot on. I love the creativity used here to recreate this daring runway look. Ha, ha!
2. This Avant-Garde Look
Talk about channeling your inner couture queen with this green number. Not only does she got the look but she’s got the attitude down pat, too. No?
3. This Crazy Number
Oh my goodness. As if the original look wasn’t crazy enough. Ha, ha! This recreation of #HomeCouture is making me laugh out loud. This is amazing.
4. This Fun Look
If you’re going to join this challenge might as well have some fun with it. Right? This is what I’m talking about people. Love this.
5. This Hairy Statement
OMG, I can’t get over this look. It looks so crazy on the runway but recreated at home is not too shabby either. Right?
6. This… Whatever This Is
I don’t really get what this original look was supposed to be but I think this girl did her best to channel its spirit.
7. This Crochet Inspired Number
Wow, I give props to this girl for going for it here. I dunno if I would have the guts to do the same. Ha, ha!
8. This Mummified Look
Is this not the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen in fashion? This look from the ’60s was pushing it already. The new version does it justice.
9. This Carpet Situation
I dunno about you, but this look doesn’t seem comfortable to me. But I know, with high fashion it isn’t the point. I get it.
10. This Jean Paul Gauthier Look
If you’re going to recreate a high fashion look, why not just go all the way and make it animated? Ha, ha! This look is priceless.
11. This Fresh Out Of The Shower Look
Talk about taking sweater weather to a new level. Why go there when this out-of-the-shower idea will definitely suffice?
12. This Cardboard Inspo

Who knew you can make cardboard look so chic? I certainly wouldn’t have thought of it. But I gotta say, I kinda do like it.
13. This Instant Noodle Look

Oh, wow! Talk about using an unusual medium to recreate this funky shoe. I dunno if you can actually walk in it, but, who cares?
14. This Cruella de Vil Look

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this look was Cruella de Vil. I can’t be the only one who sees it, right?
This totally proves that when it comes to people’s creativity the possibilities are endless.
So which look is your favorite? Or is this just too much for you? Ha, ha!
