I’m not a parent myself, but I have seen, up close, how a new addition affects a family. Suddenly all their free time is gone. All their attention is taken up. Their sleep cycles are absolutely destroyed. Their lives are fundamentally different now, with a new focus. And that’s as it should be!
But more than all that, babies are expensive! You don’t just need bottles — you need the brushes to clean them too. You can’t just clean them with the cloths you already have, you need special, softer baby cloths. And, oh my, the clothing! There are so many wardrobe changes in the future!
New parents need all the help they can get, and just for them, Walmart has a Baby Savings Day coming up this weekend.

Everything baby-related, from those tiny little onesies to cribs and car seats are on sale, rolled back from their already low prices.
It’s the time to stock up on all those things that won’t go bad, and likely won’t go lower in price, either.

You know what I’m talking about: The wipes, the diapers, the Diaper Genie bags, and so on and so forth.
And the more major purchases are discounted as well, like cribs and strollers and car seats and changing tables.

There’s no better time to pick up a bigger ticket item.
Although the sale is happening online through February 28, the real action is all in-store.

Participating stores will have specialists on hand to demonstrate gear and help out new and soon-to-be parents with advice on choosing the right products for their growing families. There will also be samples and coupons on hand, too.
The big Baby Savings Day event starts at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 23.

Check with your local Walmart to make sure it’s participating, or check this list here .
