There are definitely some very… strange pictures floating around online. Things that you just can’t explain, no matter how many questions you try to ask about them.
And the pictures in this list are no exception. They’re going to make you question a lot of things. But don’t expect to get a lot of answers. Or any answers, really.

I’d love to know who thought this sign was a good idea. Probably someone in corporate. Trick us regular folk into thinking something’s on sale when it’s literally just a cent cheaper, huh? Well, I’m not buying it (figuratively and literally)!
“The way this metal box rusted as the paint fell off over time.”
I’m not gonna lie, I have no clue what’s going on here. What is this box? How did it rust in this specific pattern? Why does it look like the inside of a tree trunk? Too many questions and no answers. Typical.
“My Son’s Blanket Was Happy to Be Done Spinning.”
I hate everything about this. The blanket’s vacant smile seems really sinister like it knows something I don’t. And there’s also the fact that it ended up spinning in the washing machine like that. What are the odds?
“Rather than cutting down this tree for the power line, they simply carved a hole.”
This is fine and all, but I feel like it’s going to amount to more work in the long run. That tree is just going to keep growing back, and it’ll need to be cut again in a year, probably.
“This cabin on top of a silo. Oldham County, Kentucky.”
On one hand, it’s a pretty neat little cabin. On the other hand, I’d hate to live in it. Unless the rest of the silo got retrofitted with a new staircase, there’s no way I’d be making my way up there.
“Our BBQ apparently likes the snow.”
I guess winter is officially on, which means snow everywhere. And where there’s snow, there are countless barbecues that are way too happy to see it. I guess they like the idea of hibernating for the season?
“Something went wrong with this London Underground platform, making an optical illusion.”
It took me a long time to realize that the lines at the edge of the platform were laid down wrong, which is why it looks like the floor is uneven. As long as you stand behind the yellow part, you’ll be fine.
“You can see every sip I took of my beer in the glass.”
I swear, stuff like this only happens with beer. You wouldn’t see a cup of soda create this many bubble rings. And definitely not water, either. Why does beer have to be like this?
“No explanation for this ornament on my Mother’s tree is satisfactory…what is even going on here…”
As much as I love weird Christmas ornaments, this one is a bit too much for me. I’d love to see someone tell us exactly what’s going on in this scene.
“This Extra Long Egg.”
Sometimes, I think about how chickens will just lay eggs whenever. Does it hurt? Do they not care? Do the ever notice if the egg is longer than usual? These are things I need to know!
“I made a giant chestnut from chestnuts.”
That’s… a lot of chestnuts. How do you even get that many of them at once? I mean, on the plus side, the giant chestnut that happens to be made of regular-sized chestnuts is really nicely done.
“The troll on this Swedish Christmas card looks like Alfred E. Neuman.”
If you didn’t know, Alfred E. Neuman is the name of the kid on the Mad Magazine covers. These trolls… definitely kind of look like him. The one on the left especially.
“Point from deer antler got stuck in our tractor’s tire. Impressed by the resilience of both objects.”
I kind of don’t want to know what went on between this tractor and the deer that left its mark on the tire. Like, how would you even explain that?
“20 Amazon trucks at a gas station.”
I know that these Amazon drivers are probably all filling up before a day of deliveries, but there’s also a tiny chance they’re getting ready for some kind of secret Amazon convention or something.
“In the 70s car hammocks for babies were a thing.”
This is probably the most dangerous thing I’ve ever seen. That hammock isn’t safe at all. It’s hard to believe there was a time when people could sell things like this without getting arrested.
“My mom’s cat eats out of a high chair.”
The look on this cat’s face says it all. Sure, it’ll play along for now, but the second the owner stops paying attention, she’ll be the one in the high chair next (somehow).
“Ordered Jimmy John’s delivery, and received an empty plastic container labeled ‘free smells.’ I know it’s a marketing slogan but weirded me out.”
I’d definitely be too afraid to open that container because I wouldn’t want the free smell to be of something bad. But I’m still kind of curious as to what (if any) smell would be in there.
“Whole wheat bread came out weird.”
Is it just me, or is it really hard to eat bread when it looks like this? Sure, it’s no different from “pretty” bread. But it looks weird, and weird-looking bread always feels kind of dangerous.
“Conjoined Watermelon Sour Patch Kids.”
In other words, this is just one big piece of candy. It’s weird, that’s for sure. But I think in this case, an answer to any question we might have doesn’t even matter.

I absolutely wouldn’t trust that. Sure, it’s probably some kind of coffee, or maybe a tea or a hot chocolate. But how do we know it isn’t poison? It probably isn’t, but it could be. Never just assume it isn’t poison.
