So let’s talk about ‘Suicide Squad’
With that new Harley Quinn movie on the horizon, it seems fitting we revisit that movie one more time.
It was kind of a mess. A mess with some good elements, but a mess nonetheless.
And one of the biggest, splotchiest messes of them all…
Was Jared Leto’s Joker.
Not only because he looked like the poster boy for Hot Topic, but because he was kind of a jerk on set (sending people dead rats and whatnot).
But speaking of the look…
They went through a couple of makeup changes before settling on the “I hate Batman and also my dad” look.
And David Ayer, the director of Suicide Squad , shared one of those looks on Instagram the other day.
And here it is.
You can see that he has bigger lips, but he does still have the “Damaged” tattoo and the teardrop.
So kind of a mix between Captain Spaulding and a Machine Gun Kelly.
