Yes, these are the devices that Netflix will be dropping support to as of the end of 2019.
So if you have one of these old devices, get with the future and buy something new! Or, ask for it for Christmas, because it’s always better to have someone else pay for you, rather than you paying for something yourself.
There are only so many human rights out there…

Food, water, freedom of speech and religion, the right to vote and of course, the right to own a device that plays Netflix.
Every person on planet earth should have these essential things.
Seriously, do you know anyone who doesn’t own Netflix?

Whether they’re stealing from a friend or they actually bought an account (psh, suckers) it seems that everyone these days has a Netflix account.
If you’re not into sports, then Netflix takes over cable hands down.
And one of the reasons everyone owns it is because it can play on so many devices.

Consoles, TVs, computers and even your phone can get Netflix these days.
It’s kind of like the black plague for machines if the plague would let you watch The Office .
Netflix sure has been on a lot of devices, hasn’t it?

It’s been on everything from the Nintendo Wii to the TV you bought on Boxing Day.
We’ve been able to enjoy Netflix from so many devices since it was created.
But no longer!

This year, the number of devices that can play Netflix is going to shrink a little bit.
Yes, it seems that Netflix will not continually support every machine that can currently play it.
So hear ye, hear ye, people of the internet gather ’round.

I am about to announce all the devices that Netflix will stop supporting at the end of 2019.
So if you have any of these, it’s time to trade up! Because we all need working Netflix in our lives, and you don’t deserve a device that doesn’t support it.
Let’s begin with Samsung!

There are some TVs where Netflix will not be supported , specifically “select 2010 and 2011 Samsung Smart TV models that were sold in the U.S. and Canada”.
As for mobile, you’ll need to have Android 2.3 at the very least to be able to run Netflix.
Next, we’ll talk about Roku!

Roku!
For those of you who own a Roku TV that was made before 2011, you will not be able to support Netflix on that TV past the end of 2019.
Here’s a list of all the Roku devices that will no longer play on Netflix:

Roku 2000C
Roku 2050X
Roku 2100X
Roku HD
Roku SD
Roku XD
Roku XR
Any pretty much any other sort of Roku device that doesn’t have an “auto-play” feature. So check your Netflix now.
Apple Devices

There shouldn’t be a lot of issues with Apple devices, as long as you have iOS 12.0 or later.
If not, then you can’t even download Netflix on your apple stuff!
And finally…

Vizio. Oh, gods, not Vizio!
Yes, if you own a TV from Vizio that was made in 2015 or earlier, I’m sorry to say but you’ll be losing your Netflix support.
Make sure your device isn’t on the list! If it is, you have our deepest condolences.
