There’s no doubt it’s been a rough start to the year for much of the world. Everyone had to quickly try and adjust to a “new normal” that included more Zoom calls than anyone could have imagined, surprise homeschooling, intense social distancing, and having to actually cook home cooked meals. It’s been rough, to say the least.
During this tumultuous time, many folks have found ways to lift spirits, and there’s a super sweet trend going around that is sure to do the trick.
In an effort to lift the spirits of their communities, ‘wine ninjas’ are stealthily leaving gift baskets on porches.

The point is to not know who did the kind deed, and then pay it forward to someone else, if you’re able to do so.
It’s basically “ding-dong ditch,” but you actually get something out of it!

People are filling the baskets with a bunch of nice treats that will put a smile on anyone’s face, like carbs and alcohol.
This is such a great way to send love to your fellow neighbors in your community.

You may not be able to see it, but I’m sure any gift package, big or small, would seriously brighten their day, if not their whole year.
If you want to get the trend going in your community, watch this video to see how it’s done, although you may want to hold off from doing the cartwheel.
Be safe, and have fun with it!
