I don’t know about you, but I definitely miss The Big Bang Theory . Not only was it a hilarious and intelligent show, the cast also all really felt like friends who appreciated each other for who they were. That’s not a feeling you get with every show.
It looks like that feeling is accurate, based on a new interview with Mayim Bialik.
*The Big Bang Theory* is one of the most successful and beloved sitcoms of all time.
Part of its success is definitely owed to the lovable characters Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, played by actors Jim Parson and Mayim Bialik respectively.
Mayim, who was best known for her role on Blossom as a child, hold a degree in neuroscience in real life, just like her character Amy.
Mayim was recently asked about what she missed the most about *The Big Bang Theory*.

“Being part of The Big Bang Theory for gosh, almost a decade of my life, was a thrill. It was a real thrill as an actor to be employed for that long and to be employed at something that I enjoyed so much with people that I enjoyed working with so much,” Mayim revealed in a new interview .
“As a neuroscientist in real life, I really enjoyed going to a job where our intellect is appreciated and our characters’ intellects were appreciated.”

“I think that fostered a really nice sense of just really enjoying my job in a way that a lot of us don’t get that opportunity. I have other things that I get to do now and hope that I will enjoy the next show that I’m working on, which Jim Parsons and I are producing. But it’s really special to have any job security like that for that long, especially in my industry.”
“It’s obviously different to have a relationship with people when the thing that brought you together doesn’t exist,” Mayim said of her relationship with the rest of the cast.

“We don’t have a place to go to work together to hang out. We’ve had some group communication for sure,” she added.
I would love to be in a Big Bang Theory cast reunion Zoom call — I bet it’s a blast!
