Mark Zuckerberg’s namesake is suing the social media founder as Facebook keeps accusing him of ‘impersonating’ the tech CEO.
The attorney is suing the billionaire
Mark S Zuckerberg is a bankruptcy attorney from the US state of Indiana who has filed a lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and Meta, because the social media site keeps accusing him of ‘impersonation’.
His account keeps getting removed

The court documents of this case will surely be mind-bending to all those involved as both parties share the same name.
The bankruptcy attorney claims that the Facebook account for his law firm has been disabled five times over the past eight years over claims of impersonation.
He’s losing money because of this
Zuckerberg, the attorney, further claims that his personal account has also been put in ‘Facebook jail’ on four different occasions over the same eight years.
He has explained that this kind of shutting down of his accounts has been costing him thousands in lost business.
Zuckerberg lost thousands over this issue
The attorney explained that he has been in this cycle with Facebook for years, but what finally caused him to crack was losing $11,000 of his hard-earned money.
He had spent the money on advertising his law firm page which was then taken down again.
The attorney is less than happy about the situation

Speaking to WTHR-TV, Zuckerberg said, “It’s not funny. Not when they take my money. This really p***ed me off.”
“It’s like buying a billboard on the side of the highway, paying the people for the billboard and then they come and put a giant blanket over it.”
He’s not getting what he paid for
“You don’t get the benefit of what you pay for. It’s not fair, it’s not right and it needs to stop,” Zuckerberg added.
He also shared that he’s tired of being accused of ‘impersonating a celebrity’ and ‘using a false name’ every few months by Facebook.
Zuckerberg has provided photo ID
The attorney shared that he has submitted his photo ID as well as various other documents to prove that he’s not trying to impersonate the billionaire CEO, but to no avail.
Zuckerberg said, “I’ve got better things to do than sue Facebook. They’ve got more money, more lawyers, more resources than I do.”
He doesn’t know how else to handle it
“I’d rather not pick a fight with them, but I don’t know how else to make them stop. I don’t know how else to get their attention,” he added.
The attorney accused Meta of negligence and breach of contract for suspending his accounts for baseless and improper reasons in the lawsuit and is also seeking a refund for the $11,000 lost.
