Maren Morris is one of my favorite country cuties. Not only is she one of the most adorable and talented singers around, she always keeps it real. I love that she isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and her recent post about new moms “getting their bodies back” was just another reminder of why fans love her so much!
Maren Morris isn’t afraid to tell you what’s UP!

Her outspoken nature and catchy music has catapulted the songstress to worldwide fame.
Now, Maren is speaking out about the pressure she’s felt since giving birth to her son, Hayes Andrew Hurd, last year.
It’s no secret new moms are under *a ton* of pressure.

Not only are they expected to be perfect and know everything about being a mom, they’re also supposed to “snap back” into their old bodies.
Celebrity moms are especially pressured into getting their old bodies “back” after giving birth.
In a new, candid post, Maren is shutting down the idea of “snap back” culture for new moms.

“Am never saying “trying to get my body back” again. no one took it, i didn’t lose it like a set of keys,” the 30-year-old wrote, alongside a pic of her in bed.
“The pressure we put on mothers to “snap back” is insurmountable and deeply troublesome,” she continued.

“You are and always were a [expletive] badass. and yeah, I’m proud.”
Famous friends and fans alike took to the comments section to praise the 30-year-old.
“Snap back culture is insane! Thanks for this,” commented fellow new mom Mandy Moore.
“Tell. Them. Those ignorant attitudes need to SNAP BACK into reality. A goddess is a goddess is A GODDESS. #LessonNumber1,” agreed Ruby Amanfu.
What an important message for Maren to share!
