A Texas man identified as Jared James Dicus has left netizens talking after he was captured in a surveillance video stealing a beer from a convenience store shortly after allegedly decapitating his newlywed wife of four months. Here is a closer look at the viral story.
Inside The Viral Footage
Recently, video footage captured Jared arriving at the Chepes meat market, where his wife Anggy worked, at about 11:40 am. In the clip, the 21-year-old Texas native, clad in a T-shirt and jeans, made his way to the fridge and grabbed a beer.
Jared Left Without Paying
Rather than stop by the counter, Jared strolled past and exited the market. Next, he proceeded to the parking lot, where he was captured opening the beer and taking a sip.
Officers Respond To The Call
Later in the day, authorities responded to a call to the Waller County home where Jared and Anggy lived. Upon arrival at the location, responding officers met a gruesome sight of Anggy’s lifeless and mutilated body inside the main residence.
Anggy’s Decapitated Body Discovered
Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry told reporters that authorities saw a portion of a body dismembered and a residence covered in blood. According to him, it was a gruesome scene at its best.
The Crime Happened In The Property
Troy also revealed that the killing and dismembering of the body were done on the property, adding that all the parts and pieces were recovered and submitted for evidence.

The friend told authorities everyone was having an amazing time at the party, but Jared stormed off, looking very upset. She was also very positive that the couple’s union was anything but peaceful, as they were dealing with domestic violence.

According to the victim’s friend, Anggy never outrightly said there were problems in her marriage, probably because she was too embarrassed to admit that her relationship was far from perfect.

The friend admitted that Anggy had spoken to her about having a child. However, she advised her against it, pointing out the importance of getting to know Jared better and enjoying being a couple before venturing into parenthood.
