We’ve all at some point thought about what it would be like to have nature fall in love with us (much like Snow White). It would be so cool to go out and whisper to squirrels or tame hummingbirds. One man cycling through Australia got to experience what it would be like if animals just fell in love with you and instantly became your best friend. The only problem is getting them to leave you alone afterward.
Campbell Jones was cycling through Rottnest, Australia when he spotted a quokka.

These little guys are known for their smiling faces and adorable chubby cheeks.
He stopped to take some pictures but when he was walking back to his bike, the quokka came running after him.

“I put down the GoPro and it jumped at me as if to say ‘come back,'” Campbell said .
Quokkas are actually very sociable animals and love meeting people.

The Instagram hashtag #quokkaselfie is actually quite popular because these animals are so curious.
However, quokkas are vulnerable, so the more we can show how amazing these little guys are, the higher their chances of survival will be.
