You know how nature photos are popular on Instagram? Those ones where a beautiful model basks in the sunlight among the trees?
Yeah, those human models have nothing on Lotus the Maine Coon.

Lotus is four-years-old and lives in picturesque Sweden.
But even though his backdrop is beautiful, he doesn’t let it steal the spotlight.
Like, seriously, look at this cat!
While he’s becoming internet famous for his photos, Lotus is more of an indoor guy.
Maine Coons are the largest domesticated breed of cats.
So Lotus isn’t your typical house cat, tipping the scales at just over 22 pounds (10 kg), and it really only adds to his majesty.

Lotus’ outdoors pics, while calendar-worthy, don’t really give you a great sense of his size.
Even a Swedish winter photo shoot doesn’t seem to phase Lotus.
But when you’re wearing a coat like that, I guess it wouldn’t. Can you imagine having to comb him out, though?
When not posing for these photos, he actually wears a harness to stay close to his humans.
He and his two cat siblings are never left alone outdoors. So don’t worry!
Lotus, Lady Marion, and Chivaz all like hanging out around the family cabin.
But it definitely seems to be Lotus that enjoys playing model the most.
But we don’t mind, since he slays in every photo he stars in.
You can’t take a bad pic of Lotus. He was born for this.
Seriously, this kitty is well on his way to stardom.
His Instagram page, where his owners post these fairy tale pics and some of his more candid moments, has more than 260,000 followers.
And they’re not all pics of Lotus looking like a cover model.
Even though he can give a ‘Blue Steel’ look with the best of them, this cat has a playful personality, too.
But holy smokes, this is basically the Fabio of cats.
