Before we go any further, I need to tell you all that I love Christmas. Heck, I freaking live for Christmas. I love everything about this festive day. However, what I don’t love is all the chaos that can come with it. I hate the stress. I hate the frantic cleaning and the endless visits.
If you’re like me, then you should think about embracing the day after Christmas as the new superior day.
As a lover of Christmas, we all know the fleeting feeling of Christmas coming to an end.
However, I encourage you all to rethink your holiday plans and learn to embrace the day after December 25th.
Known as “Boxing Day” in many parts of the world, the day following Christmas is far superior.
For one, you can sleep in. No screaming children eager to open presents.

No big dinner to cook. No relatives to visit. Heck, you can spend the whole day in your PJs if you’d like.
You’ve done all the hard work, now it’s time to enjoy the fruits of that labor.
So this year, plan to enjoy Boxing Day by wearing your new Christmas PJs and eating a ton of Christmas dinner leftovers — I know I will be!
Plus, it lets the magic of Christmas hold out for just a little longer, and I think that’s pretty darn special, don’t you?
