If you ever played with Lego , you know about its limitless construction possibilities. However, most of us think of these colorful bricks as just kids’ toys.
But there are many people out there that have used Legos to create projects that actually serve a purpose. Let’s take a look at a few of them here and expand our own mindset.
1. Lego Bird Feeder
If you have a lot of birds in your neighborhood, you might as well make them a bird feeder, eh? But forget a typical wooden one, why not build one out of Legos? Awe, this looks so cool.
2. Lego Lamp
Can you believe somebody constructed this lamp base out of Legos? I think this would be absolutely perfect for a child’s room, no? Heck, even if you don’t have kids, you can get one of these for yourself.
3. Lego Bookends
Harry Potter fans are a fun bunch. One Potter fan made himself these amazing Hogwarts Express bookends. Wow, I never would have thought of creating something like this. Any Potterhead would enjoy this.
4. Lego Key Keeper
If you need a good space to keep your keys consider creating a Lego rack like this one. I think it’s so much more fun than a regular key hook. What do you think? Are you game for it?
5. Lego Earrings
One of the easiest things you can make with Legos is something like this. These earrings are so fun to wear and a cool little craft you can make in a single afternoon. I’m really digging this concept here.
6. Lego Kitchen Island
Honestly, this is probably the best use of Legos I’ve ever seen before. How cool that they constructed a kitchen island entirely out of these colorful blocks, huh? It’s the most impressive project ever, and I love it.
7. Lego Fish Tank
Who had a fish tank when they were a kid? We had one at our house, but it was definitely not as neat as this one. Who knew that we could’ve used Lego to create bridges and fish hideaways?
8. Lego Necklace
If you’re the romantic type, you can always use your creativity to make your sweetheart something like this. Even though it might be a little juvenile, I would wear this necklace because it was made with a lot of heart.
9. Lego Guitar
My fiancé is a guitar player, so I know he would really appreciate this piece here. I wonder how long it took this person to make? What do you think? And how many pieces of Legos would this require?
10. Lego Desk Organizer
Any Lego fan would totally get a kick out of this one. If you’re going to use Legos in your home might as well create a desk organizer out of them. This one looks pretty handy to me.
11. Lego Chess Set
Sure, you can definitely buy a Lego chess set, but what’s the fun in that, huh? Instead, you can do what this person did and build yourself one out of spare Lego parts. Isn’t this such a cool idea?
12. Lego Cable Holder
The cables on my work desk are always a mess. Perhaps I should start organizing them with Legos. After all, it not only serves its purpose, but it looks super rad too, no? Hee-hee, I totally dig it.
13. Lego Gift Box
I’m all for being more environmentally friendly. The less we use plastic and paper, the better. Am I right? That’s why I’m so happy to see gift boxes made out of Legos. I really should make this myself.
Wow, I told you there are so many cool uses for Legos.
I didn’t know about a lot of these. And now that I see these designs, I’m thoroughly impressed. Have you ever made anything useful with Legos? Share with me in the comments below.
