Clifford the Big Red will be, of course, taking lots of inspiration from the original books by Norman Bridwell.
It will be following the story of Emily Elizabeth, who is trying to work out how to fit in at home, school, all by using her big red dog as her companion.
The movie will be coming alive for new audiences, both children and adult alike.

However, every live-action movie gets some slack from old fans for making changes or looking too different.
So far, Clifford is frightening some people (but not to the same degree that Cats did).
While some people on Twitter are scared of the leaked behind the scenes photo, I think we can all agree on one thing:
Who wouldn’t love a giant red dog as your best friend?
Besides picking up giant poop, it seems like a fantastic scenario.
The executive producer, Lole Lucchese had a lot to say about Clifford, and why it works as a movie.
“There is something enduring in Clifford’s gentle, loyal spirit that touches fans even after they become adults,”
The legacy will continue to live on in live-action format.
“We see it in tributes on social media and in fan art, and of course, in every parent who grew up with Clifford and now shares their love of him with their preschoolers.”
But so far, Twitter seems mostly just scared. What do you think of the photo?
