With the US Presidential election tonight, tensions are running high across the country.
Popstar and activist Lady Gaga is speaking out against the Trump campaign after they label her an “anti-fracking activist.”
Now, the 34-year-old is defending herselff against the accusation, while also urging Americans to vote for her nominee, Joe Biden.
Lady Gaga is best known for being a full queen of the music universe.
If the aliens ever come down and want to know what Earthly music sounds like, I’m handing them “The Fame Monster” by Ms. Gaga.
In addition to knowing everything about music, Lady Gaga is learning everything about American politics.
This knowledge includes FRACKING, which is, of course, a method for extracting natural gas.
On Sunday afternoon, the Trump campaign released an official statement inexplicably targeting Gaga.
In the statement, they called the artist an “anti-fracking activist.”
“Nothing exposes Biden’s disdain for the forgotten working men & women of PA like campaigning with anti-fracking activist Lady Gaga,” Trump’s election campaign’s Director of Communications Tim Murtaugh tweeted .
“This desperate effort to drum up enthusiasm is actually a sharp stick in the eye for 600,000 Pennsylvanians who work in the fracking industry.”
Lady Gaga reposted the statement on her Twitter account, tweeting “HEY TIME HEY @realDonaldTrump SO HAPPY IM GLAD TO BE LIVING RENT FREE IN YOUR HEAD.”
She finished the tweet with the hashtag #BidenHarris.
It’s clear Lady Gaga won’t be pushed around by anyone, or any campaign.
