If there’s one thing we’ve learned about our girl Kimberly Kardashian, it’s that she isn’t to be messed with.
Fashion brand Missguided learned this the hard way earlier this year when Kim slammed them with a $2.7 million dollar lawsuit, and won.
Kim has been very vocal about bishes stealing her look.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise to ANYONE that Kim has no time for an app that had the audacity to steal her picture!
Y’all know Kimmy has her lawyers on speed dial!
According to TMZ, the app Sweet Camera Official, owned by iHandy, is being sued by Kim for $10 MILLION dollars after using this pic of her from 2017:
The photo was to promote her Kim’s own makeup line, KKW Beauty.
The app claims to give it’s users “natural beauty skin” and allows photos to be edited and enhanced with makeup, changing eye colors, and more.
According to TMZ iHandy claimed they didn’t know it was Kim Kardashian in the photo.
Kim’s lawyer apparently scoffed at the claim. The lawsuit says, “Defendant claim, absurdly, as its alleged defense … that they didn’t know that the unlicensed, unauthorized photo they knowingly stole and misappropriated was that of [Kim Kardashian West] … one of the most famous and recognizable women in the world.”
According to the lawsuit, Kim’s lawyer alleges iHandy threatened Kim to not bring claims against them, or they would “go after her.”
Kim’s multi-million dollar lawsuit includes the cost of licensing Kim’s photo, plus her emotional distress.
She also wants any profits they’ve made by using her pic.
