In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel , alongside her sisters Khloé and Kourtney, Kim spilled the beans that she might be naming her fourth child something that none of us are really expecting.
All of the new Kardashian and Jenner mom’s have given their children unique names.
The real shocker would be if any of them gave their kids traditional , more common names.
Khloé named her daughter True.
“It was my great-grandfather’s first name and my grandfather’s middle name,” Khloé said, explaining the significance of her daughter’s name .
“It stuck with me for my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn’t get out of my head.”
The reviews were mixed.
This fan clearly does not support the name True, especially when it’s paired with Tristan’s last name, Thompson.
Understandably, since Tristan cheated on Khloé not once, but twice , many women are not a fan of the Thompson name right now.
Kylie named her daughter Stormi.
“I really don’t know how we thought of Storm”, Kylie explained to sister Kim in an interview.
“Her dad insisted it was him, but I feel like it was me. And that kind of just stuck with us. And then I didn’t really like just Storm — I didn’t feel like that was her name,” she said, adding:
“So then it became Stormi. And it just stuck. I feel like there were a lot of other names that I might have even liked better to be honest, but I feel like Stormi picked her own name, like it was just her name. “
Again, fans were not unanimously on board with the name.
This fan wrote that some of Kylie’s lip kits have better names than the one she gave her daughter.
Obviously, this is opinion os subjective.
Personally , the name Stormi has definitely grown on me.
Kim, however, has been the queen of giving her children unique, original names.
And with her fourth child, a boy, about to be born next month by a surrogate, we’re all wondering just how creative she and Kanye are going to get with his name choice.
So far, she’s named her children North, Saint, and Chicago.
All very one-of-a-kind first names.
Kim actually revealed in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, that she was hoping to give Chicago a one-syllable name like her other two children to match.
Kim is still a bit disappointed that they didn’t end up giving Chicago a one-syllable name.
“It kind of messes with me, I’m not going to lie,” she said .
“I really liked the one syllable thing. I don’t even know why [we chose it.] I haven’t really been into middle names but it’s like I really wanted a name that was short. A one-syllable name. Like, Chicago just looks really long to me and doesn’t flow, so I call her Chi.”
However, this time around Kim is more interested in choosing a traditional first name instead of one that is one-syllable.
Kim revealed that she doesn’t name any of her children until a few days after they’ve been born, in an effort to choose a name she feels the baby best connects with .
Kourtney also revealed that it took her a full week to name her son, Reign, and that she tried out multiple names on him before settling on one.
“One day Reign’s name was Preston for one full day,” she said, but added that she knew in her “soul” that his name was meant to be Reign.
“All the family weighs in, I definitely take a family survey and it’s usually after the baby’s born. I usually go three or four days nameless until I feel it really connects with me,” Kim said.
Kim went on to explain that she’s looking into traditional Armenian names , but hasn’t yet found one that she likes.
Kim went on to reveal the one name that has made her list so far: Rob, after her brother and father.
“I was truthfully thinking about just naming him “Rob,” after my brother,” she said .
But she thinks that the name Rob doesn’t exactly fit in with the names of her other children.
“But then it’s North, Saint, Chicago, Rob. It doesn’t really go,” she said.
“But I was really feeling that and my brother approved it, so that’s our one kind of name. I like “Rob West,” but I don’t like “Robert West.”
In a second interview with E! Kim shared what prompted her to consider a more traditional name for her fourth child.
She said that in the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians “you’ll see when we go to Bali that there might be a deeper reason for why I would want that name,” she said, adding “this blind palm reader gave me some really crazy information when I was in Bali, so you will see that.”

What do you think of Kim’s baby name choice? Does it matter that it’s different than her other children’s names?
