Simply start by gathering basic materials: scissors, hot glue gun, pipe cleaners, markers or paint pens, and colored cardstock.
Use the scissors to create all sorts of insect types.
Think beetles, worms, flies, caterpillars, ladybugs — basically any insect that you’d actually want in your home (sorry, cockroaches).
Now comes the fun part: get the kids to decorate the bug shapes using the markers or paint pens.
Once all of the little insects are all ready to be glued, grab the kids a snack and do this next step yourself.
