So when the 37-year-old won a daytime Emmy for her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show she made sure to thank her estranged husband, despite the fact that the couple is separating.

As you may have heard, Kelly and her husband of nearly seven years Brandon Blackstock announced their split earlier this month.
The couple share two children, 6-year-old River 4-year-old Remington, together.
The news came as a shock to many fans, as the couple always seemed so happy and in love.
Thankfully, it seems the couple are co-parenting well together as Kelly gave him the sweetest shoutout after her daytime Emmy win this past weekend.
Kelly started out by thanking her crew members for her Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host win.
“OH MY GOSH!!!!!! What is happening?!!!! This is amazing!!! Thank y’all so much!!! And a MAJOR thank you to my entire crew that really is the reason I won!!! I can’t wait to celebrate with our whole crew when humans can congregate again!! This calls for a PARTY!!!!” she wrote on social media.
She then thanked her ex in a heartfelt tweet.
“Thank you so much to Brandon Blackstock for believing in me and convincing me to do The Kelly Clarkson Show. ,” she wrote.
