One of the coolest things about the human body’s largest organ, the skin, is that it can stretch and shrink as our bodies go through changes.
The evidence that it leaves behind is nothing to be ashamed of, and Katie Holmes totally gets that.
Congratulations to the human race for stepping into an era where we’ve started to embrace our so-called flaws like stretch marks and cellulite instead of feeling ashamed of them.
Why be ashamed of something everybody has to some extent, right?
Many celebrities have been leading the charge on the body-positivity movement by sharing their unedited photos on social media.
Inadvertently using their platforms to teach self-love to their fans — something we could probably all use a bit of.
Take Demi Lovato, for example.
Demi has always been a dedicated advocate to shutting down body-shamers, and the first and most effective way she does that is by being comfortable in her own skin, and flaunting what she’s got.
Or Jessica Alba.
Back in 2010, Jessica opened up to Self about her post-pregnancy body, saying: “I’ll take the stretch marks. I’ll take the sagging boobs. I’ll take the cellulite I can never get rid of.”
Ashley Graham.
Being a “plus-size” model has always been Ashley’s shtick, and we love her for it. She isn’t afraid to show off her curves, and embrace her imperfections.
Chrissy Teigen.
If we know one thing about Chrissy Teigen, it’s that she is unfiltered. So, it comes as no surprise that she is comfortable and candid with fans about her stretchmarks as well.
Padma Lakshmi.
Padma shared this photo to her Instagram story, confidently pointing out her stretch marks to her followers, looking completely unbothered — as she should be.
Hilary Duff.

Alicia has been setting a major example to all girls and women that we should be happy with ourselves, flaws and all. She always rocks the bare-face-all-natural-look, and she’s confident in her own body, stretch marks included.

Kourtney’s brand Poosh shared this image of Kourtney to their social media feed, and fans were delighted to see that Kourt was proudly showing off her stretchmarks in the shot.
Anyway, let’s talk about the woman we’re here for today: Katie Holmes.
Katie had her daughter, Suri, back in her 20s and has recently opened up about having no regrets about that. In fact, she was happy about it!
“I was happy to become a mom in my twenties,” she told Elle UK. “We kind of grew up together.”
“How do I put this? Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match .”
Although it’s been 13 years, Katie still has her tiger stripes to show for being pregnant and she wears them proudly.
She recently posted a photo on Instagram showing them off.
Stretch marks or not, Katie looks fierce as hell!
