John and Kate Gosselin are back in the headlines so much, it’s like it’s 2009 all over again!
Recently, the pair’s eldest children, twin girls Mady and Cara, headed off to college!

The girls and their mom Kate have a seemingly tight-knit relationship.
They recently co-starred in Kate’s dating return, Kate Plus Date , as well as the family’s regular show, Kate Plus Eight .
Earlier this week, “Kate Plus Eight” aired a special episode about the girl’s leaving for college that received a lot of negative feedback.
Since Kate only has six of the pair’s eight children living with her full time, people were quick to ask why the show hasn’t been renamed to Kate Plus Six .
Kate also received backlash for mentioning daughter Hannah’s absence, but not son Collin’s.
“No disrespect…but why did you acknowledge Hannah being gone but not mention Collin at all? … When you so blatantly ignore his existence it leads me and many others to believe that you would do your child harm and put him in danger in a ‘home’ just so you don’t have to be bothered to deal with him,” wrote one fan.
Jon has Collin and Hannah living with him full time.
A few weeks ago, Kate’s ex-husband John did an explosive interview with Daily Mail TV, exposing his ex-wife.
He accused Kate of being a “millitant” mother as well as a narcissist who let their son Collin be “caged” in a behavioural unit for three years.
After the show aired, Kate took to her Insta to fire back at the haters and defending her twin daughters.
“I love these kids fiercely.. and I don’t apologize for my tears,” she wrote.
“Times have been so tough and so needlessly unfair for them. Despite it all, they’ve turned out to be such wonderful amazing human beings.”
She concluded, “I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for each of them once they get away from those who have tried to destroy them versus protect them!”
