If you’re a fan of the hit TLC show Counting On , you know that Jinger Duggar and her hubby Jeremy Vuolo are one of the cutest couples in the Duggar family.
The pair made the untraditional (by Duggar standards) call to pick up their lives and move to California and it seems the duo, and their growing family, couldn’t be happier!
If you follow Jinger or Jeremy on Insta, you know what a sweet and loving family they are!

The pair welcomed their daughter Felicity back in 2018 and are now expecting a second baby girl!
However, Jeremy came under fire recently after making a joke on Twitter that related to Jinger’s grandmother’s death.

For those who don’t know, Mary Duggar slipped and fell into a pool last June and tragically drowned .
Following Mary’s death, the Duggar family confirmed that she suffered two strokes prior to her fall.
Mary had “slipped and fallen and passed by the time her daughter found her in the pool,” a representative for the family said last year.

Unfortunately, it’s clear Jeremy wasn’t thinking about Mary’s death when he retweeted what would have normally been considered an innocent video.

It showed a dog rescuing a grasshopper out of a pool by using his mouth.
Accompanying the video was the now-deleted tweet of Jeremy asking: “Would you rather: a) Drown in a swimming pool; or b) Be crushed by the jaws and teeth of a massive dog-like creature that is 4000x bigger than you. I know, it’s a tough one.”

After some fans responded about the insensitive nature of the tweet, Jeremy was quick to apologize.
“Yesterday, I retweeted a nature video & made a comment about a grasshopper drowning in a pool. I was not thinking about what happened last Summer and, as soon as I realized how insensitive it was, I took it down.”
He concluded : “I asked my wife & in-laws to forgive me & I hope you will, as well!”
Fans were understanding of Jeremy’s slip-up and offered words of support to the young dad.

“I’m humbled by your transparency about something […] you had already deleted, but then again in this online world, prudence is a wise course,” wrote one fan.
“I do not know you personally but you are a Christian man and I believe you would never do anything intentionally to hurt anyone. God bless you and your family,” wrote another.
This isn’t the first time the Vuolos have faced a bit of public controversy.

The Los Angeles-based donut company, Fonuts, used to partner with Jinger until they realized some of her family’s more controversial beliefs. The Vuolos and Duggars have been openly homophobic, transphobic, and intolerant of other religions.
Fonuts announced the decision in an Instagram post that said “please accept our sincerest apologies” written on one of the images.

“We apologize for our recent poor choice of promotional partner,” began owners Nancy Truman and Thom Furtado.
“We were shocked and dismayed to learn about who we were associating with. We recognize we really made a mistake by not properly researching them.”

“We have ended our partnership with Jinger Vuolo and the company that introduced us.”
They continued: “We would like you all to know, we promise to be more diligent in the future and will only work with people who truly represent our core values of kindness, inclusivity and transparency.”

“We are so sorry, and we really hope you will forgive us for this mistake.”
