Jenelle Evans has been in the media a lot lately, and for the most disturbing reasons. The most recent has fans absolutely shocked .
A quick refresher:

Back in May, it was reported that David Eason shot and killed Jenelle’s French bulldog dog Nugget after it had “snapped” at their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley.
David even posted on Instagram, not long after the incident.

In a now-deleted post, he wrote, “I dont give a d**n what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that [expletive] at all. “
“I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission,” he went on.

“Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”
Jenelle had even taken to Instagram herself to post about Nugget’s death.
As a result, Jenelle lost her contract with “Teen Mom 2”.
What’s worse is that she and David temporarily lost custody of their three children.
What’s worse is that she and David temporarily lost custody of their three children.

It was only a few days ago that they were finally reunited.
It was recently reported that the local police station will be closing the investigation, along with animal control.

“[Jenelle] contacted Columbus County Sheriff’s Office by public service. [She] advised that on April 29th, at approximately 6:30 pm, her dog bit her daughter, leaving a scratch on her face,” the Columbus County Sheriff’s Officet told E! News .
“[She] advised that her husband, David Eason, threw the dog outside,”

“She then advised that after David realized that the dog scratched their child, he went outside and shot the dog. During this conversation, Jenelle stated that she did hear a gunshot but did not witness the incident.”
Police searched the property where they found no blood evidence or any other physical evidence to validate that an animal had been fatally injured there, E! News reports.

Additionally, Jenelle’s statements to the police no longer lined up.

And so everybody as jumped to the horrible conclusion that the entire story was fabricated.
As of right now, Jenelle hasn’t released a statement on the incident, but we’re sure it’s only a matter of time.
And the big question still remains…

Where is Nugget? What really happened to the dog?
