There’s worse fates in the world than to be stuck in an elevator for two hours with Jason Momoa. I’m not the biggest fan of elevators and would honestly rather take the stairs, but I’d brave the metal boxes of claustrophobia to spend a bit of time with Jason.
Jason, however, wasn’t too happy when he took to Instagram to reveal that he’d been gotten stuck.

On his Instagram stories, Jason began chronicling the adventure he and a group of his friends were on. One friend, frantically ringing the help button on the elevator announced, “We’re stuck!” and added that they had been stuck for “an hour and a half, two hours.”
Jason seemed to be in as good spirits as possible about the whole thing.

Turning the camera on himself, Jason happily accepted some M&Ms from one of his friends on the elevator, before joining in on the playful discussion of who among them would be eaten first if they were stuck on the elevator forever.
Jason also revealed he had tried to free them using some skills he picked up from watching ‘Die Hard.’

Turning the camera on a large tile dangling from the ceiling, Jason explained, “I was trying to be like Die Hard , but it didn’t work out,” and admitted he thought they would be able to climb out the top.
Near the end of the saga, Jason shows his audience that his stunt team came to the rescue.

He films them up through the elevator shaft in a shot that had me clutching my own phone extremely tightly. Jason and his friends give a sarcastic shout-out to the hotel they were staying at in Vancouver, calling it “the worst [expletive] hotel ever,” before the video ends.
While Jason didn’t film their eventual rescue, we can only assume he’s not stuck in there anymore, and nobody had to resort to cannibalism. You know what they say about assumptions, though…
