Of all the different things people share online , the most underrated things are the ones that are simply interesting . Not creepy, not terrible in some way, just interesting and kind of cool.
Sometimes, it’s nice to just kick back and take a look at some of the most fascinating things the internet has to offer. And it just so happens that you can do that right here.
“My printer gave me a bonus page.”

Now there’s something you don’t see every day. It’s nice of printers to print the pages you want, but every once in a while they print ones you weren’t expecting, like page three out of out. Very weird, but hey, who’s gonna complain about that?
“This implant and screws that came out of my knee…”

Yeah, knee injuries aren’t pretty. You knees are kind of the main reason why you can stand on two legs, after all. I don’t doubt it would take this much hardware (and probably a lot more time) to repair a knee injury.
“I was making hard boiled eggs and one of them broke, and it looks like a baby sleeping in his bed.”

I don’t know why, but I just love the way eggs make funny shapes when they break while cooking. Especially boiled eggs, which always end up looking super weird.
I saw a person in a sleeping bag, but a baby works, too.
“My hair before and haver chemotherapy. From straight and sticking up to extremely soft and kind of curly!!”

It’s crazy how changes to the body can make your hair texture totally different. I heard that this can happen after pregnancy, and apparently after chemo, too.
For something that’s essentially dead cells, hair sure can do a bunch of interesting things.
“View from our shower is Super Mario Bros.”

Wow, it really does look like the iconic level from basically every Super Mario Bros. game. The brick wall, the clouds… All that’s missing now is a bunch of angry Goombas and some coins here and there.
I wouldn’t try to go out there and recreate the game, though.
“I drive this vehicle a mile under the surface of the Earth.”

That’s actually kind of crazy, not gonna lie. I don’t know what it would be like to be that far underground, but you just know it’s pretty serious when a vehicle like that is involved.
Man, mining is such an interesting concept.
“Found an original Clue board game from 1948.”

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Clue has been around basically forever, and even though it’s gone through multiple makeovers since its debut in the ’40s, it’s still the same kind of game it’s always been. Nice to look back on the old board, though.
“This house has a model copy of itself as a bird feeder.”

I think that every house should have a miniature version of itself sitting in front of it. Whether it’s a birdhouse or a mailbox, we need to make this happen. It would honestly just be so cute and really cool.
“The process of making a beach bigger.”

You know, I’ve never seen anything quite like this. I guess this would be more of a matter of them stacking a bunch of sand on the shore until it went above the shoreline, which I guess kind of makes sense.
But where do they get the sand from?
“The patterns of Indian Jasmine blooms.”

Now that’s one awesome flower. It almost looks cartoonish, what with the way the yellows sort of block together. And the pinwheel pattern of the one on the left is really unique. I kind of wish I had these in my own garden.
“1.9-Billion-Year-Old Fossil (Stromatolite) ‘Mary Ellen Jasper.'”

Rocks, fossils, and gems are just so cool! This planet really does make some amazing patterns, like this fossil. It almost looks like there’s lava trapped inside of this rock, which makes it look and feel that much more awesome. I wish I had one…
“Someone put the wrong soap in our soap dispenser at work and a new galaxy formed.”

I guess that’s why you shouldn’t mix two different kinds of liquid soap (or, it’s at least one of the reasons). I’m not sure what it’ll be like when people start using it, but at least it makes this cool effect in the meantime.
“I hit the handle of another throwing knife with a throwing knife.”

Is it luck? Is it skill? Could it be a combination of both? Really, it’s anyone’s guess. But the important thing is that this isn’t just interesting to look at, it’s also super cool.
I’m not going to ask where you get throwing knives, though.
“This apple at my local farm stand, New Hampshire, USA.”

That apple is huge ! I bet you could make a whole pie with one apple that size. Or a whole bunch of mini tarts.
Hopefully it still tastes good, though, and it’s not, like, watered down or something. Because that would honestly kind of suck.
“A 1943 steel penny.”

I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really know what pennies are made of (copper, maybe?). But I do know that they aren’t steel. That just wouldn’t make sense. Were pennies in the ’40s made of steel? Is this a commemorative coin? I really wish I knew.
“I wrote a shopping list on the back of a damp receipt and it transferred onto the kitchen counter in white.”

My first thought was, “I hope that doesn’t stay on there.” But it probably won’t, anyway.
In any case, that’s pretty cool! I guess receipt paper is kind of like transfer paper. Especially when it’s wet and all the print rubs off on your hands.
“The way this orchid root shriveled looks like a skeletonized finger.”

It’s amazing how much things can look like other things. Like how plants can start to resemble skeletons once they’ve gone dry and shriveled up. But don’t worry, I’m, like, 99% sure there are no real bones involved here.
“This sign about the Chevrolet Bolt at a valet.”

I feel like there’s a story behind this sign. Like, what reason would a valet have for banning one specific vehicle? Is it because it’s an electric car? Is it unsafe for the valet drivers? It kind of sucks, be we probably won’t ever know.
“I’m training to be a mortgage underwriter, and I just completely drained an ink pen for the first time in my life.”

I imagine a mortgage underwriter has to do a lot of writing. Which means going through pens pretty often. So even though this person has shown us something we don’t see a lot, they’d better get used to seeing a lot more in the future.
“The size of this cricket I found.”

I, like, can’t get over how impossibly tiny this cricket is. I wonder if this is some kind of baby cricket, or if there’s a species that’s this small out there. Like, it’s so small, you’d probably have to be eagle-eyed in order to spot it.
“A gravestone that features a depiction of the accident that killed the grave’s occupant.”

It’s a tombstone and obituary all rolled into one. As interesting as this memorial is, it’s also pretty sad. Even if none of us know who this guy was, you can’t help but feel a bit bad.
And it’s from 1759 . That’s such an old grave!
“Sunset at my house last night.”

Sometimes, the most interesting thing out there is something you might take advantage of on a daily basis. Like a really nice sunset.
The colors in this picture are out of this world. I wish I could see this kind of view every night.
“A plant growing in an old seat in McDonald’s.”

I’m willing to bet that this McDonald’s is more than a few years old. We’re talking decades, here. Because I doubt any of the more recent chains would have seats that were falling apart so much, they’ be able to have plants growing out of them. Still cool.
“This potato I found at the grocery store.”

I, for one, really like this potato heart. I just think it’s neat.
Seriously, though, it would be kind of a shame to cut up and eat a potato shaped like a heart. But all good things must come to an end at some point.
“This overly labeled relish I stocked at work (Normal one next to it for reference).”

Printing errors are always so funny. They’re the result of some kind of oversight, and yet they’re never so bad that they have to be pulled before getting shipped out to stores. They just kind of exist for us to find in the world and laugh at.
“This old Coca-Cola glass I found buried in a cabinet at my parent’s house.”

There’s nothing particularly special about this Coca-Cola glass. It’s just a neat, interesting, and old glass that’s probably several decades old.
I feel like you almost couldn’t drink anything other than Coke in this glass, though. It would just be too weird.
“This spider on my rear camera made me nope the hell out.”

Interesting? Yes. Terrifying? Only a little. At least the spider is outside of the vehicle, and this person is safely inside and far away from it.
Still, how rude of this spider to get in the way of the rear camera like that.
“Some lady brought in a macaw where I work and let me hold it.”

Man, when I worked retail, I never saw anyone carry a bird. Plenty of dogs, sure. But never a whole macaw. This is too awesome for words, and I’m so jealous of the person who got to hold this customer’s macaw.
“This extra long Pringles can released for Pakistan’s Independence Day.”

Now that’s a long Pringles can! You couldn’t even get your hand all the way down to the bottom, since it looks like it’s longer than an arm!
It also feels like if you had one of these, you’d have Pringles for life, basically. Could anyone get through this can in one sitting?
“Jar of pickles bleached white by the sun, found in the desert.”

The sun is such an amazing thing. It gives us life, helps plants grow, keeps us from wandering around in complete darkness. But too much sun can bleach all the colors out of pretty much anything. Even pickles, apparently. Who knew?
