We’re here, and to be clear: this article is about the Kardashians, so I don’t want to hear any whining. You chose to click on it!
Let’s take a look at the Kardashians from the beginning of the decade to now. Spoiler alert: they are really different.
Things have changed a LOT for the Kardashians.
Ten years, lots of babies, and a billion dollars later, the whole family is way different from where they started in 2010.
I mean, even the cast of Keeping Up With the Kardashians has changed: Caitlyn and Rob are no longer on it.
Kim Kardashian: Then.
In 2010, Kim Kardashian was just becoming, well, Kim Kardashian.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians was in its fifth season. She had just launched her first fragrance, and she appeared in a music video with Kanye West.
Kim Kardashian: Now.
I don’t even have the time to tell you everything that Kim’s done in 10 years.
She married and divorced Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage, married Kanye West and had 4 children with him, launched her own cosmetics and shapewear brands…I could go on. She’s Kim. You know the story.
Khloé Kardashian: Then.
Khloé has arguably changed the most in the last decade — at least when it comes to her whole look.
Back in 2010, she was married to basketball star Lamar Odom, and had multiple spinoffs in her future.
Khloé Kardashian: Now.
What isn’t different about Khloé? She and Lamar divorced, she got together with Tristan Thompson, had baby True with him, and then split from him.
She owns her own clothing company, called Good American, and jets around the world with True.
Kourtney Kardashian: Then.
Kourtney Kardashian was a new mom in 2010. She and Scott Disick had just welcomed Mason into the world, and the family moved to Miami with Kim for their spin-off, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami .
Kourtney Kardashian: Now.
Kourtney and Scott had two more children together: Penelope, and Reign.
She and Scott split in 2015. She owns a lifestyle brand, called Poosh, and still appears on Keeping Up With he Kardashians .
Kris Jenner: Then.
Mama Kris is ageless.
Kris was kicking the Kardashian brand off in 2010. She was still married to Caitlyn Jenner at the time.
She also appeared in Kourtney and Kim Take Miami .
Kris Jenner: Now.
A lot has changed for Kris. She and Caitlyn divorced, she began dating Corey Gamble, she wrote two books (one of which is a cookbook), collaborated with Kylie on a line for Kylie Cosmetics, and became a grandma to 10 new grandchildren.
Kylie Jenner: Then.
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kylie had a very small role on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2010.
Kylie was still attending regular school at the time, which would change as she and her family’s fame grew.
Kylie Jenner: Now.
I mean…it’s Kylie.
Thanks to her makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics, she’s the youngest billionaire in the world. In 2018, she gave birth to a daughter, Stormi, with rapper Travis Scott. They split.
There was also that whole thing with Tyga…but that was too messy to get into right now.
Kendall Jenner: Then.
The eldest of she and Kylie, Kendall also didn’t have much of a role on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2010.
However, she did have one career already going: she was just exploring the world of modeling.
Kendall Jenner: Now.
Kendall is now a world-renowned model. She was the highest-paid model in the world in 2018.
She’s walked for crazy prestigious brands like Chanel, Givenchy, and Oscar de le Renta, among others.
Caitlyn Jenner: Then.
Prior to her transition, Caitlyn was a big fixture in the Keeping Up With the Kardashians world.
Privately, she and Kris struggled with Caitlyn’s inability to explore her identity, which she revealed after her transition.
Caitlyn Jenner: Now.
Caitlyn came out as a trans woman in 2015. That same year, she and Kris divorced.
She had her own short-lived reality show, called I Am Cait . She is now one of the most famous transgendered people in the world.
