If you don’t believe in reincarnation, this young boy is about to make you reconsider. Not only has he made the shocking claim of being reincarnated, but he also has a weirdly clear memory of events that happened to him in his past life to back it up.
Keep reading for details.
Ryan Hammond
Ryan Hammond, who hails from Oklahoma, USA, made this revelation in 2015 when he was just ten. He told his parents he was the reincarnation of a Hollywood star who had died 40 years before he was born.
‘Hollywood Star’
The young boy continued his account of his life in the 1940s and 1950s, including being dealt a serious punch by Marilyn Monroe’s bodyguards. Hammond believes he was Marty Martyn in his previous life.
He Remembers How He Died!
Hammond made another bizarre claim about the situation surrounding his death in his past life, which involves his heart exploding and going toward the light.
Marty Martyn
The movie extra, who later became a renowned Tinsel Town agent, lived a life full of riches and luxury in New York and even got married four times with different holidays in Paris and other exotic locations.
He died in 1964 from a brain hemorrhage at 61 years old before returning as Hammond.
Hammond Had Made This Claim Much Earlier
The boy initially made a claim of his past life as early as age three, but his parents didn’t take him seriously and mistook it for him being dramatic as he wasn’t even old enough to understand what the concept of reincarnation meant.
Calls For Trips
Young Hammond would beg his mom for trips to Los Angeles so he could see his other family and would often wake up in the night calling “action” like he was on a movie set.
His mom, whose curiosity is now awakened, bought him a book about Hollywood, and once Hammond checked, he identified George Raft in a picture, claiming he took a picture with him.
Introducing Hammond To Marty’s Daughter
In a bid to get to the root of the situation, Hammond was introduced to Marty’s daughter by a documentary crew and was taken around Los Angeles to visit and identify places that the actor used to frequent while he was alive, which the daughter confirmed as accurate when she heard his claims.
Shared Love For New York

Although memories of his past life seem to have faded a bit, he still displays some traits similar to the late Marty, which includes a love for New York City and Hollywood movies.
From A Child’s Psychiatrist

Dr. Jim Tucker believes Hammond’s claims about his reincarnation are valid and affirms that the world is indeed strange, and cases like Hammond’s don’t come under a standard explanation of how we perceive the world.
A chapter of his book Return to Life even focuses on Hammond’s case.
