Suzanne Whang, most well-known for her role as host on the HGTV hit series House Hunters , has passed away after a long fight with cancer at the age of 56.
Suzanne had initially been diagnosed with breast cancer 13 years ago.
Her partner, Jeff Vezain, reportedly said on Facebook that she had always confronted it with “courage, humor, determination, and optimism.”
Her sense of humor surrounding her diagnosis was obvious.

Recently, Suzanne shared this photo on Twitter with the caption, “This is what I wore to my fundraiser yesterday! I put googly eyes, lashes, and lips on the tumor, named her Felicia (thanks to the brilliant mind of @Jennifer_Paz), and we all said “Bye!” to her. We raised over $18,000 in just one week! It was a glorious event. Thank you all!”
Suzanne was the host of ‘House Hunters’ for nine years and was beloved by the show’s fans.

Suzanne was also an actress, most notably playing manicurist Polly Nguyen on four seasons of the show Las Vegas , as well as supporting roles on many series, including Criminal Minds, General Hospital, and NYPD Blue.
Suzanne was also a radio host, political activist, and minister, along with holding a psychology degree from Yale and a masters degree from Brown.
Her partner wrote that, Suzanne would “prefer that her life be celebrated, as opposed to her passing mourned.”
Our thoughts are with her friends and family at this time.
Friends, fans, and family have left messages of love and support for Suzanne and her loved ones.
Presidential hopeful Marianne Williamson tweeted a thoughtful message and sent love to the people most affected by this loss.
Many took the time to remember her sense of humor and determination.
One friend tweeted , “This woman was a goddamn warrior and the world will be a helluva lot less funny without her in it. She awed and inspired me and I’m so grateful our paths crossed.”
Tom Bergeron, host of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ shared this photo.
Suzanne had been a fill-in co-host and field host for FOX After Breakfast with Tom Bergeron and was a close friend of the television personality. He was involved in the breast cancer fundraiser thrown for Suzanne in May of this year.
Rest in peace, Suzanne.
