A mic caught the last bit of Trump and Zelenskyy going at it in the White House.
Zelenskyy headed to the White House to discuss the conflict

The whole point of this meetup was supposed to be peace talks about the Ukraine-Russia war, but things got pretty tense real fast. Well… let’s just say it wasn’t exactly a friendly chat.
Trump reportedly asked Zelenskyy to leave after an argument

Zelenskyy showed up at the White House on Feb 28, meeting with Trump and VP JD Vance to talk about the war.
But things got heated, and Trump allegedly asked Zelenskyy to leave after a pretty intense back-and-forth in front of the press in the Oval Office.
Vance said Zelenskyy should be thanking Trump and the US

Vance fired back, saying Zelenskyy was being disrespectful and should be showing more gratitude to Trump and the U.S. for helping with the war.
Zelenskyy didn’t hold back, saying, “Have you ever been to Ukraine? Seen what problems we have? Come once.”
Zelenskyy said everyone has problems during war
Zelenskyy then took a moment and said, “During the war, everyone has problems,” adding that just because they don’t feel it now doesn’t mean they won’t in the future.
Trump said Zelenskyy is in no position to tell them what to feel
Trump jumped in right away, insisting he’s “trying to solve a problem” and telling Zelenskyy he’s in “no position” to say “what [they’re] going to feel.”
A hot mic caught Trump’s orders before Zelenskyy was escorted out
A hot mic supposedly picked up Trump giving orders to his staff right before showing Zelenskyy the door.
He told his aides to take the Ukrainian delegation down the hall to the Roosevelt Room
That’s where Zelenskyy and his team were apparently informed that Trump wanted them gone.
As the press was heading out, Trump turned to an aide and said, “You’re right, maybe we should [inaudible]. Let’s have a little something…” Then he added, “Would you bring them to the Roosevelt Room?”
Trump paused all military aid to Ukraine after the meeting
This whole mess of a meeting is already shaking things up. Trump has now put a hold on all military aid to Ukraine.
A White House official explained, “The president has been clear that he is focused on peace. We need our partners to be committed to that goal as well.” They added, “We are pausing and reviewing our aid to ensure that it is contributing to a solution.”
Zelenskyy said Ukraine is ready to negotiate for peace
The Ukranian president also put out a statement, making it clear he’s all about peace, not dragging the war on forever.
He said, “Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts.”
