Gen Z is the funniest generation. That’s a fact.
The students at North Farmington High School in Farmington Hills, Michigan are prime examples of that. Each year, the seniors at the school are allowed to go all out for their senior ID pictures. And yes, it’s exactly as hilarious as you think it is.

This is uncanny.
I know that ID says Julius Shrum (what a fantastic name), but I’m not entirely sure that isn’t actually Ed Sheeran. The resemblance has me doing double and triple takes, y’all.

You know how the rest goes. Tyler even got the bent up hat brim right. Yes, we used to do that back in the day. We committed so many fashion sins in the ’90s.

McKenzie here decided to go full Barb (that’s what Nicki’s fans are called) and dress up as Nicki’s iconic Cosmopolitan photoshoot. She set the whole tone for her year with this picture. Legends only.

Parvati and Padma deserved way more screen time in the movies than they got. And while we’re at it, justice for Peeves the Poltergeist.

I’m gonna be honest: my favorite IDs are the meme ones.
It takes someone truly funny to turn themselves into an iconic meme, and d**n if Rianne didn’t nail it. Thank you for your service, Rianne. I salute you.

Few memes have the staying power of this still of Miranda Cosgrove. I just wanna give a shoutout to Courtney for bringing actual props to her picture. The red can shows a strong attention to detail. 10/10, I have no notes.

There’s not a lot of places you can go when your name is Donald and it’s senior ID day, so I applaud him for leaning right in.
This one broke me.
I laughed at a lot of these, but none of them got me quite like Seth’s. His facial expression is absolutely perfect . The shock mixed with the vacant gaze is just…chef’s kiss.

Ramya and her Hugsy prop perfectly nailed Joey’s expression of shock. A few students chose to do a moment from Friends as their picture, but that penguin plushy just put Ramya over the top for me.
Having said that…
We HAVE to talk about Felicity’s WEDDING DRESS. This girl went out and found a pretty close approximation of Rachel’s wedding dress from the pilot of Friends . I love the detail she put into this!

Hannah and Amelia took advantage of their places in the alphabet, and I love that journey for them. Shoutout to Hannah for having the perfect hair for this joke.

Yes we can! I don’t know what I can say about Joshua’s picture that the picture itself doesn’t say for me. It’s the child-size hard hat for me.
