With the COVID-19 pandemic still ongoing, many zoos and aquariums remain closed to the public, leaving the animals with only their handlers for company.
The same is true for pets stuck at home with their humans and unable to socialize with just anyone they encounter on the street.
If you’re bored with seeing only the people in your social bubble, imagine how the animals feel.
Noting this issue, many establishments have found a way to help animals get the stimulation they need by bringing pets to them.

The latest to make the internet go “d’aww!” is a video of Kevin , an Instagram-famous golden retriever visiting the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
Kevin is known for his love of hats, ducks, and in particular, his duck hat.
Staff at the aquarium got in contact with Kevin’s human, because they too had a duck-loving resident: a rescued dolphin named Winter.

After having the animals FaceTime together, it made sense to let them meet in person.
First, he stopped to meet pelicans, stingrays, and other residents before heading to the dolphin area to meet Winter and her friends.
Kevin even got to take a refreshing swim with the dolphin trainers and Winter’s favorite yellow duckie.

At only a year old, Kevin has many years of adventures — and hats! — in his future.
