A magical village located in the West Country of England, Godric’s Hollow was where Lily, James, and Harry Potter lived for the first year of Harry’s life.
Their house was destroyed on the night Harry accidentally defeated You-Know-Who.
Harry and Hermione Granger visited the ruins of the house 17 years after its destruction. It was featured in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , and has since become a popular tourist destination for Potter fans!

It’s called De Vere House! Located in the medieval village of Lavenham, De Vere House was the shooting location used in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows .
You can actually stay in it!
The house is now an Airbnb! Immaculately kept and a popular tourist destination for Harry Potter fans, this gorgeous home is a bed and breakfast with all the classic English trimmings.
It features modern amenities with classic twists.
The house has en suite bathrooms, wifi, and TV access. It also has a private guest sitting room with a log fire, and breakfast is served in the private dining room of the main wing of the house.
Tourists love every part of the house.
They described this door as, “One of the most photographed doors in the world. Our medieval front door with original hand carved huntsmen figures either side.”
I can’t even imagine how old those carvings are!
The rooms are absolutely stunning.
The listing describes this stunning bedroom as the “Lady Howard” room. Lady Howard was Countess of Oxford, and the wife of the builder and first owner of the house.
