If you know anything about the movie Mean Girls , then you know Gretchen Wieners’ father is the inventor of Toaster Strudel. While we can neither confirm nor deny the title, one thing that’s certain is during the past 16 years since the film’s debut, we’ve had yet to enjoy a toaster pastry treat inspired by the film. And don’t you think, as the inventor of Toaster Strudel, you would want to promote your daughter’s film?
The day has finally come, fortunately, and we think the new product is pretty “fetch.”
Gretchen Wieners finally used her Toaster Strudel connections to get a *Mean Girls*-inspired toaster pastry treat on the market.
It’s taken 16 years, but it’s so worth it.
While Gretchen’s father wouldn’t be pleased about the burn book, he would of course be pleased with a toaster pastry inspired by his daughter, which is why (one of) Gretchen’s iconic lines from the filmed is changed to, “I think my father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel, would be very pleased to hear about this.”
In true *Mean Girls* fashion, the two flavors are inspired by the color pink.
One package contains a plain strawberry filling, and the other is filled with both strawberry and cream cheese fillings.
Well, we know strawberries aren’t pink, but pink is in the red family.
Both flavors include Barbie pink icing so you can write all your favorite quotes on your pastry, although you might need extra for that.
Actually, if you tag #FetchSweepstakes in a photo of your most fetch icing design, you have the chance to win a personalized video from Gretchen Wieners herself, Lacey Chabert on October 3rd.
AND you can watch the film for free on Fandango if you purchase two Mean Girls Toaster Strudel boxes in one transaction from now until October 31st.
You can find the new limited edition Toaster Strudel flavors in the freezer section of your local grocery store.
Mornings seriously just got super fetch.
