Now, his longtime partner-in-crime Goldie Hawn is celebrating his birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute.
This pair is never afraid to show their love for one another, which is one of the main reasons I love them so much!
Posting a throwback clip of them from the 1989 Oscars, Goldie wrote:
“Happy birthday baby! What a wild ride. No, we never got married but one thing that continues to grow is our love. You’re a wild one, brilliant, lovable, childlike, perfectly maddening, a father supreme and deeply funny!”
The clip not only shows how gorgeous this couple has always been, but how fun they are together!
While presenting the award for Best Director, Goldie starts: “I was just thinking about how we fit in completely with the theme of the show. We’re costars, we’re compadres, we’re companions, and we’re a couple!”
Kurt went on to point out there’s only “one thing” they’re not: married.
The crowd laughs as Goldie asks if that was a proposal, to which everyone claps and cheers.
Kurt then jokes that they need to wrap it up, and they’ll “talk about it later.”
Goldie’s heartfelt Instagram post concluded:
“I can’t imagine my life without you at any age, Kurt Russell. You’re the catch. And you’re all mine.”
