You may have seen the phenomenon of neighborhood “bear hunts” going on. This neighborhood activity, which sees homeowners place teddy bears and other stuffed animals in windows for children to find, was a response to physical and social distancing initiatives and mandates. This forced many people to adapt to a new, slow life, finding ways to connect with their communities and uplift spirits in creative ways.
One homeowner in the U.K. has been having a lot of fun with the “bear hunt” trend, bringing tons of joy to everyone, big and small, in their neighborhood.
Meet giant teddy bears Ted and Ed.

The anonymous homeowner, based in Stockport, England, told Insider they found the teddies six years ago at a Costco, and now they’ve come to be a great use for everyone in their Heaton Moor neighborhood.
The owner thought having the bears doing different activities each day would bring much-needed joy and entertainment to those getting out for their exercise.

They’re certainly doing the trick!
The owner has Ted and Ed participating in plenty of activities every day since the U.K.’s lockdown began.

They enjoy fish and chips together, mini putt, camping, and even gardening.
They also help out around the property with chores.

Where can we get our own Ted and Ed?!
There’s no doubt these silly bears put plenty of smiles on passersby faces.
