If someone entrusts you with a secret , it can be a burden. It isn’t fun.
If you find a random secret in the wild, on the other hand, it’s a totally different story. These secrets come with no strings attached, along with a (metaphorical) prize: the honor of being one of the few to find them.

This embodies, in one image, how much of the world views Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook at this point in time.
“Sink drains at MSP airport!”
Building an airport is a huge task. I wonder who’s in charge of making sure the sink drains are plane-themed.
“There’s a bear on the bottom of my GFB Bites bag!”
I can’t answer that question, Mr. Bear. I just wanted some snacks, then I looked under the bag and now we’re talking about bears for some reason.
“Patrick directing traffic.”
Patrick’s a long way from home, and on dry land to boot, but he seems to be doing an adequate job.
“Batman is watching over Leicester Square, London.”
I’m not sure if this was a promotional stunt or a permanent installation. Either way, it’s nice to know the Dark Knight is looking out for us.
“This little message on my Rollerblades.”
These inline skates raise a good point, but c’mon, you can’t be skating all the time. Eventually, you might even need to change the wheels.
“On the inside lap of a pack of playing cards.”
Do they mean that, like, your hands are on the deck? Do they mean that the deck can make lots of different hands of cards? I need answers.
“It seems to work much easier.”
This comes off as so polite that it’s basically passive aggressive. Just tell me that I’m an idiot for looking at the wrong end and be done with it.
“This pepper grinder at a spice store had ‘gesundheit’ on the bottom.”
If you’re not the kind of person who says “gesundheit” after someone sneezes, you’d probably think it was just some German brand.
“A sign at my local grocery store which was slightly hidden with another sign. I see you.”
I know this was a store employee having fun, but I like to think that the labelmaker was expressing its existential angst.
“Got this cheap, bootleg Puma bag as a gift 10 years ago. Just discovered it has a random hidden Louis Tomlinson print inside one of the pouches.”
These are my favorite Easter eggs: the ones that make absolutely no sense. It would be a great keepsake for Louis Tomlinson fans who love Puma, though.
“Spotted on a walk in Kentucky.”
Are these elves or gnomes? It’s an important distinction, because gnomes are friendly and elves are mischievous little rascals.
“This shark hidden on the hinge of this cars glove box.”
Apparently this is a feature on some Vauxhall cars. Hyundai really ought to implement it on their Tiburon line, though.
“These spooky spiders hidden in the back compartments of my car.”
Here’s another random car feature. Is this a warning that the car will eventually become infested with spiders? Only time will tell.
“The air vents on a subway in Stockholm have a hidden Pac-Man.”
Once you notice this, the clackity clack of the moving train probably starts to sound more like wokka wokka .
“Mosaic Mario having a nice day at the river.”
I like this understated Mario that’s done up in the 8-bit style. Much more low-key than 3D Mario.
“The side of my big mug. It has a design saying 64oz in the style of gasoline’s octane rating.”
I would call this message helpful, but I think it’s giving out advice that nobody really needed in the first place. At least, you have to hope nobody needed it.
“Han Solo is stuck in concrete hidden by the photography building at the University of Arizona.”
I don’t know if there’s any significance to this being outside the photography building or not. In any event, there isn’t much ice or carbonite in Arizona.
